Hi, my name is Suou, and this is my historicosplay blog. Here you will find progress photos and details of my various cosplays, which blend historical trends and lines with the color and vibrance of modern IP. There is also the potential for some tutorials and video content, if I get the setup and production assistant for that.
Aside from that, I am a plus-size cosplayer, which means that I don’t really have a good dress form. This means a lot of my work is based not on patterns that don’t cater to me, or on draping onto forms that don’t squish in the right places, but on drafting pattern pieces based on measurements and LOTS of mockups.
